Therapeutic Support

About Therapy

Supporting your child through psychotherapy may be a new experience.

Psychotherapy for your child or adolescent is usually considered when he or she is experiencing problems that are having a significant effect on his or her everyday life or relationships.

The treatment is a child-centred approach for children who may be experiencing a wide range of problems where there are underlying emotional issues, anxiety or depression.

Treatment aims to bring about change and emotional growth as well as a resolution to emotional problems.

Family and parents or carers have an important role in supporting this change and development in the individual child.

Work with parents or carers is also offered separately in order to support the parenting of children who are experiencing difficulties.

I have a wealth of experience and have worked within the NHS and in Private Practice.

I offer therapeutic work within a clinic setting to infants, children, adolescents, young people and parents.

I supervise and offer consultation to other professionals.
