Mother and Baby Support
It is difficult to put into words the maelstrom of love, rage and confusion mothers are hurled into during pregnancy and after giving birth.
I have a wealth of experience working with mothers and, often, their partners. I offer therapeutic support through pregnancy and the early years. Parents often want help with the new feelings that arise from having a baby.
Understanding what your baby is trying to communicate can often feel confusing and having a professional who has the expertise from spending time observing newborns and young infants can be extremely helpful.
Support During Pregnancy
I have been working with women on the NHS and in Private Practice who have found pregnancy a particularly challenging time. Thoughts and feelings from the past often get stirred up at this very critical time in a woman’s life. These thoughts and feelings are to be expected and can often be resolved before the birth of your newborn.
As a Perinatal Psychotherapist, I have experience treating pregnant women suffering from anxiety and other mood disorders.
Are you finding it difficult to understand the emotions that you are experiencing following the birth of your baby? If so, I can help.
As a result of my 17 years of experience, I have the required expertise and knowledge to understand the difficulties that parents face at this very important time.
I will facilitate to strengthen the bond between you and your baby and help you to understand what you baby is trying to communicate to you.
